Suggestion of how to teach the dance:
1Teach the first A. Try with music
2Explain and practise A*. Practise A again, with counts 17-32 of A* PLUS counts 1-16 of A. Explain this takes you to your first B. Try these 3 A’s with music
3Then teach section B and C. Practise A+A*+A+B+C with music
4Now explain the phrasing with 2 A* + the first 16 counts of A. Followed by B and C. Then add the original A followed by the two B’s. Now explain the Ending (the extra box + the final bow!).

You Better Think er en frisk og udfordrende 88/2 advanced phrased-dans, hvor seks af verdens mest respekterede koreografer har slået sig sammen for at skabe en sand party-banger til de erfarne dansere. Som Niels Poulsen selv skriver: “Trinene er nemme — men fraseringen er det ikke!” Resultatet er en dans, der kræver fokus, musikalitet og masser af attitude. Den veksler mellem funky rytmer, små breaks og eksplosive accenter, som gør den ideel til sociale events, hvor både præcision og performance tæller.
Fred Whitehouse og Shane McKeever (IRE), Michael Lynn (UK), Guillaume Richard (FR), Jean-Pierre Madge (CH) og Niels Poulsen (DK) udgør et internationalt dream team inden for moderne linedance. Hver af dem er kendt for deres tekniske snilde, kreative musikalitet og evne til at skabe koreografier, der rammer både hjerte og gulv. Tilsammen har de hundredevis af globale hits bag sig — og med You Better Think viser de, at samarbejde på tværs af lande stadig kan løfte genren til nye højder.
Think af Adam Lambert er et kraftfuldt, soul-funk-inspireret nummer, hvor Lamberts vokal brager igennem med attitude og energi. Sangen genfortolker Aretha Franklins klassiker i et moderne, club-venligt format med masser af groove og edge. Den perfekte lydkulisse til en dans, der både kræver hjerne og hofter.
Adam Lambert (USA) slog igennem i American Idol og har siden opnået verdensstjernestatus som både soloartist og frontmand for Queen. Kendt for sin teatralske vokal og flamboyante stil er han en kunstner, der forener rock, pop og soul i et energisk og dramatisk udtryk — præcis den type musik, som får et dansegulv til at eksplodere.
