Then carry on with the dance as normal from section 5.
**STEP CHANGE: During WALL 4, dance up to and including count 6 of section 8 (L coaster).
Replace the “Walk R, L” at counts 7-8 with 3 small steps forward stepping R, L, R with bent knees (monkey walks) for counts 7&8.
PATTERN
Wall 1 Full wall
Wall 2 Dance up to the end of S4 (paddle turn) then add the BRIDGE. Continue with the dance from S5 (cross L, side R) facing 6:00.
Wall 3 Full wall
Wall 4 Dance up to the end of S4 (paddle turn) then add the BRIDGE. Continue with the dance from S5 (cross L, side R) facing 6:00.
Then when you get to S8, dance up to and including count 6 (L coaster) and see STEP CHANGE note.
Wall 5 Start the dance from S5 (cross L, side R)
Wall 6 Full wall
ENDING: The song ends during WALL 7 (which starts facing 12:00). Dance up to and including count 2 of S2 (rock, recover).
Replace the shuffle ½ turn L with a triple full turn L, touch R to R side, hitch R across body as the song lyric finishes with “Hit the 4” – ta da!!

Hit the 4 er en energisk og præcisionskrævende 64/2 high intermediate-dans med tydeligt fokus på rytme, gentagelse og musikalitet. Trinene er tætte og konsekvente med markante accenter, hurtige vægtskift og sekvenser, der kræver fuldt overblik og stabil kropskontrol. Tempoet er højt uden at være forhastet, og dansen stiller klare krav til timing og udholdenhed, særligt gennem de længere, sammenhængende passager.
Rob Fowler og Colin Ghys kombinerer her teknisk stringens med undervisningsmæssig klarhed. Rob Fowler bidrager med sin velkendte strukturelle sikkerhed og erfaring på alle niveauer, mens Colin Ghys tilfører rytmisk skarphed og præcis musikforankring. Samarbejdet resulterer i en koreografi, der er konsekvent opbygget og kompromisløs i sit udtryk.
“Hit the 4” er et rytmebaseret, elektronisk track med tung bund og tydelig count-struktur. Musikken arbejder med gentagelser og klare markører, som koreografien udnytter systematisk. Der er ingen melodiske afledninger – fokus er på puls, drive og gentagende energi, hvilket gør musikken ideel til teknisk krævende linedance.
DJTEXX er kendt for produktioner, der er målrettet bevægelse og rytmisk præcision. Hans musik anvendes ofte i linedance, hvor timing og struktur er vigtigere end melodisk variation, og “Hit the 4” er et klart eksempel på denne tilgang.
En kompromisløs og fysisk koreografi – Hit the 4 er en dans for den erfarne danser, der ønsker intensitet, rytmisk disciplin og et klart, moderne udtryk på dansegulvet.
