Spill the Tea er en ambitiøs og kunstnerisk 100/2 advanced phrased-dans, der stiller høje krav til musikalitet, hukommelse og kropslig bevidsthed. Trinene følger musikkens opbygning frem for faste gentagelser og arbejder med skiftende energi, tempo og udtryk. Dansen kræver konstant opmærksomhed og evnen til at reagere præcist på musikalske cues, hvilket gør den velegnet til det erfarne dansegulv.
Ryan Hunt er kendt for sine komplekse og performanceorienterede koreografier, hvor musikalitet og fortolkning er centrale elementer. I Spill the Tea demonstrerer han en tydelig kunstnerisk tilgang med mod til at arbejde i lange formater og med en udtalt phrased struktur, der udfordrer danserens fulde register.
“Spill The Tea” har et moderne pop- og performancepræget udtryk med tydelige skift i dynamik og stemning. Musikken bevæger sig gennem kontraster og opbygninger, som koreografien udnytter aktivt til variation i bevægelse og intensitet.
Jessica Grech leverer et nummer med dramatisk opbygning og vokal i fokus. Hendes musik giver et stærkt grundlag for koreografier, der arbejder med fortælling, attitude og scenisk udtryk.
